Overview:
The client really liked her current logo, but felt it was outdated and didn't fit their target aesthetic. My job was to create a brand identity that leveled-up their current logo with one that is more professional, clean and luxurious.
Design Process:
The current logo was a bit too playful, the text was too small to see on small applications and there wasn't much flexibility in the design. We solved this by choosing a unique, elevated typography that has a high legibility and a color palette that evoked a calm, clean aesthetic. We removed the wings from the current MC brand mark, but kept a smooth flow in between the letters in a more subtle way. We added in additional logo variations to be used in multiple space requirements (ie. merch, printed materials, website, social & more!).

Started from my bedroom, now we’re here.
My career began in corporate marketing and business development, where I learned strategy, structure, and how to manage big, moving projects. It was steady work, but it never quite felt like home.
Then layoffs hit, and I was faced with a very real choice; find another safe job or finally follow the creative pull I’d been ignoring. I chose the second. I stopped sending out applications and started telling people, confidently, that I was a graphic designer.
The project that started it all...
My first project was rebranding my dad’s solar business. That single logo sparked conversations and referrals, and before long I was designing for small businesses, friends of friends, and people who believed in my work. CK Studio was built from that early season; on a living-room floor with a laptop, a lot of coffee, and a determination to build something of my own.
Today, I’ve helped shape more than 100 brands and websites.
The setup looks different now, but the heart behind my work hasn’t changed. I design with intention, personality, and clarity, keeping the process simple, supportive, and genuinely collaborative.
Every time a client says, “I’m so glad I found you,” I think back to that crossroads after the layoffs... The moment I chose to believe in a path that felt like mine.
